50-Year-Old Arrested for Wielding a Weapon at Acquaintance During Drunken Argument
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] A man in his 50s who repeatedly wielded a weapon at an acquaintance during an argument was arrested by the police.
The Gimhae Western Police Station in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that they have booked Mr. A (57) on suspicion of attempted murder.
It was investigated that Mr. A, while drinking together at the home of Mr. B (59) in Gimhae around 6:30 PM on the 24th, became enraged during an argument and wielded a weapon at Mr. B.
The police responded to a report from a neighbor saying "there is a fight next door" and apprehended Mr. A at the scene.
Mr. B was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, it was reported that his life is not in danger.
