On the morning of the 24th, the Democratic Party of Korea's Busan City Party held a press conference at the Yeonje-gu party office, stating, "This general election is a historic election to choose the forces that will overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and prepare for Busan's future," and emphasized, "It is a crucial election to complete the reform tasks of the Democratic Party of Korea, which has strived for Busan's development."
They said, "Breaking the vicious cycle of the stagnating economic situation through overcoming the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis is of utmost importance," and raised their voices, saying, "We will prioritize the payment of disaster basic income above any other measures and mobilize all available resources to achieve economic recovery."
They added, "To survive in the rapidly changing global situation, we will create a cooperative system for mutual growth encompassing Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam. Through the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Megacity Vision Committee, we will make Busan a pillar of South Korea's development."
