30s Man Arrested for Walking Naked in Downtown in Broad Daylight
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Seulgi Kim] A man in his 30s who was walking naked in the city center in broad daylight was caught by the police.
The Ulsan Southern Police Station announced on the 23rd that Mr. A was booked on charges of public indecency and assault.
Mr. A was walking naked on a road near the Nongsusanmul Wholesale Market in Samsan-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, at around 11:30 a.m. on the 22nd. He struck a white Ray vehicle with his fist, climbed onto the vehicle, and jumped several times, threatening the driver.
According to the police, the driver of the victim vehicle was a woman and was confirmed to have no acquaintance with Mr. A.
The police believe Mr. A committed the crime due to mental health issues and hospitalized him on the same day. They plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the crime once Mr. A is discharged.
