'Blue Hour' Sim Eun-kyung Wins Best Actress Award at Japan Takasaki Film Festival
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jong-gil] Actress Shim Eun-kyung won the Best Actress award at the Takasaki Film Festival in Japan for the movie "Blue Hour." According to the film distributor Ode on the 23rd, Shim Eun-kyung jointly received the Best Actress award with Kaho at the Takasaki Film Festival held on the 22nd in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
"Blue Hour" depicts the story of Sunada, who works as an advertising director, heading to her hometown with her friend Kiyoura to visit her grandmother in the hospital. Shim Eun-kyung played Kiyoura, and Kaho portrayed Sunada. On stage, Shim Eun-kyung said, "Kiyoura is a character that I created together with the director by coming up with ideas myself, so I am very attached to her. I am more than happy to stand here with Kaho."
