The Yeoja-dong Community Center was built on the site formerly used as a water supply pumping station, with a total area of 341.16㎡ and two floors above ground. Facilities such as a shared workshop, book cafe, and multipurpose room will be operated to revitalize the local community.
The community center plans to be operated under a private consignment system that combines profit-making businesses such as a village cafe without city budget support, to ensure sustainable facility management led directly by residents. The operating entity will be the 'Yeoja Village Community,' composed of members of the residents' council who have participated in the Blossom Yeoja Project so far, and consulting is currently underway to establish a social cooperative.
