Seoul City "Increases Discount Rate for Seoul Sarang Gift Certificates and Adds Cashback"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 22nd that from the 23rd of this month until the end of July, the discount rate for Seoul Sarang Gift Certificates issued by 18 autonomous districts will be increased by 5 percentage points to 15%, and an additional 5% cashback will be provided until the 21st of next month.
However, the total amount is limited to 50 billion KRW, so it may sell out early. Consumers who want to purchase Seoul Sarang Gift Certificates issued by each autonomous district can buy them using Zero Pay payment and usage apps such as Beeple Zero Pay, Check Pay, and Money Tree. Seoul Sarang Gift Certificates issued by each district can be used within that district.
The cashback event accumulates 5% of the payment amount each time a payment is made with Seoul Sarang Gift Certificates through Zero Pay apps, and after the event ends, up to 50,000 KRW per payment app will be refunded in cash.
