One Additional COVID-19 Case Confirmed in Eunpyeong-gu Resident (Visited New York)
One additional case (male in his 20s, resident of Yeokchon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu)... Disinfection completed at confirmed patient's residence and surroundings, transferred to Taereung Training Center Seoul City Living Treatment Center... Total 19 confirmed cases in Eunpyeong-gu as of the 20th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that one additional COVID-19 confirmed case occurred on the 20th.
The confirmed patient, Mr. ○○○ (resident of Yeokchon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, male, in his 20s), visited New York for business from January 31 to March 16 and arrived at Incheon International Airport at 4:15 AM on the 17th.
Afterwards, around 11 PM on the 18th, he visited the screening clinic at Cheonggu Seongsim Hospital, underwent a COVID-19 test, and was finally confirmed positive around 8 AM on the 20th.
The confirmed patient has currently been transferred to the Seoul Living Treatment Center set up at Taereung Athletes' Village.
Disinfection of the patient’s residence and surrounding areas has been completed, and additional information confirmed through epidemiological investigation will be disclosed on the Eunpyeong-gu Office website.
