View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement on the 19th with the Korea Fisheries Resources Agency Namhae Headquarters for mutual development, including joint policy development in the marine and fisheries sector.
The Korea Fisheries Resources Agency mainly promotes projects and research in fisheries resource creation, such as creating sea forests and sea ranches, releasing fish seeds, and constructing artificial reefs.
The signing ceremony was attended by Shin Woo-cheol, Wando County Governor, and Min Byung-joo, Head of the Korea Fisheries Resources Agency Namhae Headquarters.
Through the agreement, Wando County and the Korea Fisheries Resources Agency Namhae Headquarters agreed to actively cooperate in areas such as joint development of marine and fisheries policies, joint use of marine and fisheries research facilities and equipment, joint policy and academic research, exchange of technology and information, co-hosting major events, active support for the 2021 Wando International Seaweed Expo, and other fields for mutual development.
