Daebang Group Joins 'Good Landlord' Movement... Rent Reduced by Up to 50%
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Daebang Group announced on the 19th that it will join the 'Good Landlord Movement' to ease the rent burden for small business owners struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Daebang Group plans to reduce rent by 30-50% for two months by industry for commercial tenants residing in Daebang Construction and Daebang Industrial Development business sites. The main support targets are industries that are not closely related to daily life, such as beauty salons, real estate, supermarkets, restaurants, and academies, which are suffering severe damage due to the spread of COVID-19.
On the 6th, Daebang Group donated 100 million won to the Daegu region to overcome COVID-19. The donation made to the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross was used to prevent further spread of COVID-19 through medical support for confirmed patients and quarantine activities.
