Busan Facilities Corporation Continues Community Quarantine and Sharing Activities to Overcome COVID-19

According to the corporation on the 19th, the Road Management Department conducted special disinfection on tunnels, driver rest areas, and toll booths from the 24th to 25th of last month, and temporarily closed driver rest facilities in Doyeon, Gwang-an, and Gaegum to prevent infection.
Facilities frequently visited by the elderly in parks, such as the Children's Grand Park Haksu Senior Center, Geumgang Park Cable Car, and Yongdusan Park Escalator, were also disinfected. The special transportation service for the disabled, Duribal, continuously disinfects vehicle doors and seats to maintain hygiene and prevent transmission.
Busan Citizens Park has deferred usage fees for permitted facilities (sales facilities) for six months to protect small business owners and self-employed individuals since the outbreak of COVID-19 and is also promoting rent reductions.
The Commercial Management Department conducted disinfection six times during day and night and placed hand sanitizers at the entrances of each underground shopping mall. They broadcast guidelines for COVID-19 prevention and promote awareness through posters, stickers, and banners.
Community sharing activities to overcome COVID-19 continue daily. On the 4th, the Parking Management Department visited Seongaewon, a social welfare corporation in Geumjeong-gu, to disinfect and sanitize the entire facility and provided supplies such as masks.
On the 10th, the Bridge Management Department visited the Nam-gu Disabled Welfare Center to donate various daily necessities and quarantine supplies for disabled residents in Nam-gu. On the same day, Busan Citizens Park donated daily necessities to the Neighbors Love Volunteer Center in Busanjin-gu, and the Taejongdae Resort Office conducted disinfection and sanitation activities for nearby shops.
On the 11th, the Platform Management Department visited the Jaseongdae Senior Welfare Center in Dong-gu to sterilize and disinfect the entire 6th floor of the building, clean the environment, and deliver hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and refreshments. On the same day, the Facility Management Department visited the Jung-gu Health Center to deliver encouragement supplies to medical staff and workers.
The Citizen Safety Office visited nine vulnerable households, including basic livelihood security recipients near the headquarters, on the 12th, 13th, and 17th, conducting disinfection activities and providing masks and hand sanitizers.
On the 16th, the Central Park Office and Children's Grand Park Office jointly visited the Jung-gu Senior Club and Happy Dream Joint Workshop to focus on disinfecting the workplace and donated hand sanitizers and toilet paper. The next day, Chairman Chu Yeongil of the corporation and executives visited Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Nakdong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and Gangseo Senior Welfare Center to donate rice and detergents.
