Dadohaehaesang National Park Supports COVID-19 Infection Prevention Supplies
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] The West Office of Dadohaehaesang National Park, Korea National Park Service (Director Lee Cheon-gyu) announced on the 19th that it delivered hygiene supplies such as hand sanitizers to village residents to prevent infection among residents living in the park, in anticipation of an increase in COVID-19 cases and the possibility of nationwide spread.
The scope of this support includes 306 households of village residents, including those living in independent houses on remote islands and islets within the park area (Sinan and Jindo regions). Approximately 6 million KRW worth of hand sanitizers and disinfectants were provided free of charge to village representatives and residents. They also urged special caution regarding thorough personal hygiene and immediate reporting (call 1339) if symptoms appear.
