This event was prepared by Yongsan Welfare Foundation and Inos TV to help elderly people living alone in the Yongsan-gu area. One 43-inch LED TV (worth about 500,000 KRW) sponsored by Inos TV was delivered to Ms. Park Jin-soon (alias), an elderly person living alone.
Ms. Park Jin-soon’s (alias) home had a TV that had been used for 35 years, which recently broke down. In the difficult situation of not being able to go out due to COVID-19, she expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am very happy that my only joy, the TV, has been reinstalled and I can watch TV with large letters.”
Park Woo-seok, CEO of Inos TV, said, "We started the sponsorship out of concern that elderly people watching CRT TVs might worsen their eyesight," and added, "We want to continue sponsoring TVs to bring small joys to the elderly in the community."
Inos TV started its first TV sponsorship in July last year, and this is the third donation, steadily practicing community sharing.
Inos TV is a popular online brand loved for its cost-effectiveness and good quality. It also operates a showroom near Sookdaeipgu Station in Yongsan-gu (Namyeong-dong).
Seung Man-ho, chairman of Yongsan Welfare Foundation, said, “I am grateful to be able to help marginalized neighbors in difficult times,” and expressed deep thanks to Inos TV for sending good products and to the Yongsan Senior Welfare Center for recommending the sponsorship recipient.
Established in 2016, Yongsan Welfare Foundation is a hub for local welfare. It carries out various projects to respond to the welfare needs of residents.
