Yangcheon-gu Reports 15th COVID-19 Case: 9-Year-Old Boy, Child of Guro Call Center Employee
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) has reported the 15th confirmed COVID-19 case.
The 15th confirmed case is a 9-year-old boy (2nd grade elementary school student) residing in Sinjeong 7-dong, who tested positive on the morning of the 18th and is currently under self-quarantine.
The additional confirmed case was identified as the child of the 14th confirmed case (40-year-old female, tested positive on the 10th), an employee at a call center in Guro-gu.
The district office has requested a hospital bed for the confirmed patient and plans to transfer him immediately once a bed is assigned.
Details of the confirmed patient's movements and other specific information will be promptly and accurately disclosed through the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram) as soon as they become available.
