Yeonggwang-gun, 'Individual and Joint Housing Prices' Available for Viewing Until the 8th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 18th that it will operate a viewing and opinion submission period until the 8th of next month for the verified prices of 7,270 individual houses and 7,147 apartment units subject to public announcement based on the year 2020.
Only houses registered in the building ledger can be viewed and opinions submitted by the house owners or interested parties by visiting the county office's finance department or the town/myeon office where the house is located, or through the county website and the Real Estate Price Disclosure Informer.
For the prices submitted with opinions, a re-investigation will be conducted to determine whether an appropriate price balance is maintained with the standard house price or nearby house prices, and the relevant prices will be reviewed and notified accordingly.
A county official stated, “We conducted a full survey of individual houses located in the county to calculate prices and ensured objectivity and fairness through verification by the Korea Appraisal Board,” adding, “Since the annually announced house prices are used as the tax base for national and local taxes and reflected as calculation criteria for health insurance premiums, basic pensions, etc., we hope many residents will take an interest and check the price information of their own houses within the period.”

Meanwhile, the individual house prices based on 2020 will be decided and publicly announced on the 29th of next month after deliberation by the county real estate price disclosure committee following the end of the viewing period. Unauthorized buildings such as unregistered houses are not subject to public announcement, and for detailed information, inquiries can be made to the county finance department's non-tax revenue team.
