The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 93 compared to the previous day. Additional patients in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and Daegu, Gyeongbuk regions were 21 and 55, respectively.
By region, Daegu had the highest number with 46 cases, followed by Gyeonggi (15), Gyeongbuk (9), Seoul (5), Chungnam (3), Jeonbuk (2), Ulsan (2), Incheon (1), Gwangju (1), Sejong (1), Gangwon (1), Chungbuk (1), and Jeonnam (1). Five cases were also confirmed during quarantine procedures.
