Middle School Student Using PC Bang Tests Positive for COVID-19... Seoul 270 Cases (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul has increased to a total of 270 as a user of a PC bang in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, was newly diagnosed with the novel coronavirus infection.
On the 17th, Dongdaemun-gu announced that out of 104 users of Seven PC Bang in Hwikyung-dong who were additionally tested at the Dongdaemun-gu Public Health Center the previous day, 103 tested negative and 1 tested positive.
The confirmed case is a second-year middle school student who used Seven PC Bang from the 2nd to the 9th of this month and showed no symptoms. The student was tested at the Dongdaemun-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 16th and received a positive result on the same day.
Additionally, with one more confirmed case in Guro-gu and one other case, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul has been reported as 270. This is 3 more than the 267 cases announced by the Seoul city government as of 10 a.m. that day.
