Kim So-eun Tears Up Remembering Late Mother Role Jeon Mi-seon "My Heart Still Hurts"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Actress Kim So-eun shed tears recalling the late Jeon Mi-seon, who passed away last year.
On the 17th, at the press and distribution preview of the movie Are You in Love? held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul, Kim So-eun, along with Sung Hoon, Kim So-hye, Lee Pan-do, and director Kim Jeong-gwon, attended the event.
When asked about her acting chemistry with the late Jeon Mi-seon, Kim So-eun replied, "We got along well. As a daughter, I was able to immerse myself emotionally," adding, "It was easy to film the scenes."
Kim So-eun said, "The most memorable scene was the one where I wiped the feet of senior actress Jeon Mi-seon, who played the mother," and continued, "She went through some difficult times and was emotionally unwell for a while. Watching the movie was sad. My heart still aches," shedding tears.
Director Kim Jeong-gwon revealed his connection with the late Jeon Mi-seon, saying, "She played Cha Tae-hyun's mother in the movie Babo."
Meanwhile, the movie Are You in Love? is the posthumous work of the late Jeon Mi-seon, who suddenly passed away in June last year. The film is a romance about two men and women whose love begins to change magically after encountering a mysterious book that reveals the answers to love.
