Middle-aged Man Collapses in Downtown Seoul... Unrelated to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] On the 17th, a commotion occurred when a middle-aged man collapsed in the heart of downtown Seoul, prompting police and fire authorities to respond.
According to the Jungbu Fire Station in Seoul, a report was received around 1:40 PM that day stating that Mr. A suddenly collapsed near the Euljiro 2-ga intersection in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The fire authorities immediately dispatched personnel to the scene, performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Mr. A, and transported him to a nearby hospital.
Although there was a disturbance among nearby citizens due to fire officials wearing protective suits at the time of dispatch, it was reported that Mr. A was unrelated to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
