According to health authorities on the 17th, at around 12:20 a.m., Mr. A (63), residing in Hwasun-eup, Hwasun-gun, Jeonnam, tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. A is known to have worked together at the management office of Samik Ceramic Apartments in Hak-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju, with the 13th confirmed case in Gwangju (case number 5031), who was diagnosed on the 4th.
He was classified as a close contact of the 13th confirmed case in Gwangju and was under self-quarantine, with that day being the last day of his quarantine.
