Sangju-si, Gyeongbuk, Promotes Rent Reduction for Shared Properties Such as Banks and Restaurants
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] Sangju City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 17th that it is preparing measures to reduce the rent for paid rental facilities owned by the city.
This measure comes as small business owners face difficulties due to the contraction of local economic activities caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The facilities that Sangju City rents out for a fee include 48 places such as banks, offices, stores, restaurants, and cafes.
The city plans to hold a public property review committee meeting to reduce the rent for public properties.
