View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The Korea Publishing Culture Association (KPCA) is conducting a 'Book Donation Campaign for COVID-19 Confirmed Patients' until the 19th.
The campaign aims to support the psychological stability of confirmed COVID-19 patients by sending books donated by member companies and related organizations to those infected with the novel coronavirus.
The KPCA explained that, in consultation with various publishing organizations, it decided to donate books to approximately 3,300 mild patients receiving treatment at residential treatment centers among COVID-19 confirmed cases, helping them achieve psychological stability through reading during their treatment and recovery period.
The KPCA stated that if member companies and related organizations send donated books to the Korea Publishing Cooperative receiving center (30 Ogeum-ro, Tanhyeon-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do), the books will be delivered around the 20th to the Daegu Metropolitan City goods donation center, which oversees the residential treatment centers for mild patients. The KPCA will support the reception, classification, packaging, and delivery of the donated books.
