According to health authorities, at around 12:35 PM that day, a 65-year-old man receiving treatment at Kyungpook National University Hospital died from COVID-19. The man, who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 during a test while hospitalized at Gwak Hospital on the 21st of last month, was later transferred to Daegu Medical Center for treatment. On the 28th of last month, he experienced cardiac arrest, and intubation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation were performed.
The man had underlying conditions of diabetes and esophageal cancer.
