'Huggies Naturemade' Diapers, New Product Released with Enhanced Absorption
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 16th that its naturalistic diaper, ‘Huggies Naturemade,’ is expanding its market with a new product that enhances absorbency and reduces skin irritation.
The new product applies panthenol and shea butter lotion along with natural materials, combining a wide & long absorption pad and a thin-tech core to pursue harmony between nature and technology.
The wide & long absorption pad has increased in area by up to 30% compared to the company’s previous products, becoming wider and longer. Absorption speed improved by 20%, and leakage was reduced by 30%, providing higher absorbency.
Additionally, the thin and flexible thin-tech core was applied to enhance babies’ mobility.
To minimize skin irritation for babies, a lotion containing a high concentration of panthenol and shea butter, which are skin moisturizing ingredients, was applied to the inner cover, earning an Excellent rating in the skin irritation test conducted by the German dermatological research institute Dermatest.
The pulp used only raw materials certified by FSC sustainable forestry. Also, all inner surfaces that touch the baby’s skin, such as the waist and leg bands, use eco-friendly biomass materials made from natural sugarcane, considering greenhouse gas reduction as well.
