[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] LG Uplus announced on the 16th that it will close the customer center operating in Daegu Metropolitan City from the 16th to the 31st and implement work-from-home measures in response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
LG Uplus stated that as COVID-19 cases rapidly increased, especially centered around the call center, they decided to close the customer center to respond to the situation and ensure the safety of customer center counselors. Accordingly, LG Uplus Daegu customer center employees will complete pre-scheduled tasks by the morning of the 16th and begin working from home sequentially starting in the afternoon.
