Seoul COVID-19 Cases Increase by 9 to 240... No Change in Call Center Related Cases at 74
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] As of 5 p.m. on the 13th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the cumulative number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the city reached 240. This is an increase of 9 cases from 231 as of 10 a.m. that day.
Among the confirmed cases in Seoul, 74 are related to the call center in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, with no change in the 24 hours following the announcement at 5 p.m. the previous day. Of these 74 cases, 53 are call center employees and 21 are their family members. This count only includes cases within Seoul, excluding related confirmed cases from other local governments such as Gyeonggi-do and Incheon.
The total number of confirmed cases nationwide related to the Guro call center stands at 112 as of 3 p.m. that day. The quarantine authorities have mostly completed testing for employees working in the Korea Building where the call center is located, their families, and residents of the officetels.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is focusing on identifying external visitors who have visited this building since the 21st of last month, with the cooperation of mobile carriers and the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
