38 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Within the Military

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yang Nak-gyu] The Ministry of National Defense announced on the 13th that among the confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) within the military, 7 have been declared recovered, and no additional confirmed cases have occurred.
On this day, the additional recovered cases include one Air Force officer and one Air Force civilian employee from Daegu, and one Air Force soldier from Cheongju. Including these individuals, a total of 7 have recovered so far: 3 from the Army and 4 from the Air Force.
The Ministry of National Defense explained, "As of 10 a.m. today, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases within the military is 38, consisting of 21 from the Army, 1 from the Navy, 2 from the Marine Corps, 13 from the Air Force, and 1 from the Ministry of National Defense direct units," adding, "There are no additional confirmed cases."
