IBK Industrial Bank Provides Chungju Training Center as COVID-19 Residential Treatment Facility
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 12th that it will provide its employee training facility, the Chungju Training Center, as a COVID-19 residential treatment center.
The Chungju Training Center will be used to treat mild patients under self-quarantine due to the shortage of treatment facilities in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. The center can accommodate 179 people, with about 70 medical staff and administrative personnel stationed on site. The IBK Chungju Training Center, equipped with approximately 250 rooms, is located in Dongryang-myeon, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do.
An IBK Industrial Bank official stated, "As a national policy bank, we decided to support the residential treatment center to fulfill our social role and responsibility," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in overcoming national crises and sharing the burden of pain."

Meanwhile, IBK Industrial Bank is implementing various support measures for small business owners and SMEs struggling due to COVID-19, including special funds for affected companies, operation of financial difficulty consultation desks, free provision of hand sanitizers and disinfectants, and rent reductions for IBK-owned real estate.
