The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 114 compared to 4 p.m. the previous day. The additional patients in the metropolitan area and Daegu-Gyeongbuk region were 22 and 85, respectively.
Notably, the number of additional patients in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region dropped to double digits. By region, Daegu had the highest number with 73 cases, followed by Seoul (19), Gyeongbuk (8), Sejong (5), Gyeonggi (3), Chungnam (2), Daejeon (2), Busan (1), and Gyeongnam (1).
