Tada urges dispatched employees to resign... begins workforce reduction
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] As Tada announced that it will indefinitely suspend its Basic service starting from the 11th of next month, it has been confirmed that VCNC, the operator of Tada, is undergoing workforce reductions.
A Tada official stated on the 12th, "We have requested voluntary resignation from six indirectly employed staff members through a dispatch company." This accounts for about 30% of the approximately 20 employees.
The official explained, "With the need to suspend the Basic service, the employees responsible for the service have no work left, and although we tried to reassign them to other areas to maintain employment as much as possible, the situation is difficult."
VCNC had previously notified newly hired employees of the cancellation of their employment. Following the decision to suspend the Tada service, driver partner companies have also been informed of a reduction in vehicles.
