Daegu City Mobilizes Police for Shincheonji's First Administrative Investigation... Verification of Congregation and Facility Lists
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Daegu City is conducting an administrative investigation targeting Shincheonji facilities for the first time since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Starting from 10 a.m. today, the city, together with the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency, began the administrative investigation at Shincheonji Daegu Church and other locations. The investigation team includes public officials and epidemiological investigators.
The city plans to verify whether the list of members and facilities submitted by Shincheonji after the first COVID-19 patient (patient number 31) was confirmed in Daegu on the 18th of last month is accurate. To this end, they will also check closed-circuit television (CCTV), computers, and documents inside the facilities.
A total of 199 personnel, including the city's epidemiological investigation team, administrative staff, and police officers from the Daegu Police Agency's investigation division, have been deployed for the administrative investigation.

Currently, the number of Shincheonji Daegu Church members managed by the city is 10,437. Additionally, 42 related facilities, including Shincheonji Daegu Church, have been closed.
