Malaysia "Entry Ban on Korean Residents from the 13th"
[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] From the 13th, individuals with a history of staying in Korea will be banned from entering Malaysia.
The Malaysian government announced on the 11th (local time) that starting from the 13th, all visitors who have stayed in Korea, Iran, or Italy will be completely banned from entering or transiting through Malaysia.
The Malaysian Minister of Health stated on the same day, "At today's weekly cabinet meeting, it was decided to ban the entry of individuals with a history of staying in the three countries in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak."
He added, "The ban will take effect from the 13th, and not only nationals of the three countries but also other foreigners who have visited these countries will be prohibited from entering."
