Jeongeup-si Invests 4.5 Billion Won to Expand and Pave Military and Rural Roads
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 11th that it will spend 4.5 billion KRW this year to widen and pave a total of 13.9 km across 22 routes of military and rural fishing villages roads.
The city aims to promote balanced development in rural areas by widening and paving 6 military routes totaling 6.7 km and 16 rural fishing village roads totaling 7.2 km.
For the military road widening and paving project, construction will begin on ongoing project districts including ▲Gwancheong~Jusan Line (Military Road No. 4) ▲Seungbu~Bangok Line (Military Road No. 8) ▲Sangsan~Seondong Line (Military Road No. 12).
For new project districts, including ▲Huji~Pungwol Line (Military Road No. 3) ▲Girin~Hwaryong Line (Military Road No. 4) ▲Jusan~Ganggo Line (Military Road No. 4), administrative procedures such as road zone determination announcements will be completed, and land compensation will be pursued.
For rural fishing village roads, the widening and paving projects will be carried out on ▲Mansu Line (Gobu 206) ▲Deoksu Line (Gobu 309) ▲Yongheung Line (Gobu 311) ▲Wonja Line (Sannae 101) ▲Jangmae Line (Sannae 102) ▲Duye Line (Sannae 103) ▲Sajeok Line (Sannae 206) ▲Yeongsam Line (Ongdong 203) ▲Jenae Line (Ongdong 204) ▲Jangsan Line (Jeongu 206) ▲Eunwon Line (Chilbo 202) ▲Hanwha Line (Bukmyeon 201) ▲Gugye Line (Gamgok 103) ▲Dongji Line (Sanoe 202) ▲Yaju Line (Sanoe 201) ▲Jingu Line (Sanoe 207).
Additionally, to facilitate smooth entry and exit from National Road No. 1 towards Jeonju to the Second Government Office, an access road will be constructed. After administrative procedures such as obtaining construction permits for non-management office roads, compensation and construction will commence.
