Honorary Chairman Heo Chang-soo's Namchon Foundation Donates 100 Million Won to Korean Red Cross from Personal Funds
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Namchon Foundation announced on the 10th that it donated 100 million won in disaster relief funds to the Korean Red Cross to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Daegu area.
The donation from Namchon Foundation will be used to purchase quarantine supplies and relief goods to prevent and contain COVID-19 in the Daegu region.
A representative of Namchon Foundation said, "We prepared the donation to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Daegu and to support the citizens of Daegu in any way possible," adding, "We hope that Daegu and the entire country can overcome COVID-19 as soon as possible."
