Daegu Bank Provides Encouragement Fund to Army 50th Division Supporting COVID-19 Military Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 11th that it has donated 10 million KRW in encouragement funds to the 50th Infantry Division of the Army.
This encouragement fund ceremony was held to support the 50th Division, which is providing personnel support for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The 50th Division established an 'Army Field Support Team' composed of soldiers and is carrying out efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. Activities include disinfection work at public transportation terminals and traditional markets with high foot traffic, safe isolation at screening clinics and quarantine facilities for confirmed cases, and manpower support for companies urgently producing mask supplies.
