The Jeonju International Film Festival Organizing Committee announced on the 10th that the opening date of the festival has been postponed from the 30th of next month to May 28. Accordingly, this year's Jeonju International Film Festival will be held from May 28 to June 6 in the Jeonju Film Street and Palbok Art Factory area in Jeonbuk. A festival official stated, “We decided to postpone the festival because COVID-19 could pose a threat to the health and safety of festival guests and audiences.” He added, “We will continuously monitor the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak and make thorough preparations to ensure the festival can proceed safely.”
