Nongshim Launches 'Jjolbyeong Snack Dalgona Flavor' with Added Sweetness
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Nongshim announced on the 10th that it has newly launched 'Jjolbyeong Snack Dalgona Flavor.'
Jjolbyeong Snack Dalgona Flavor is inspired by nostalgic street snacks and features a sweet taste different from the existing Jjolbyeong Snack. Dalgona is a puffed candy made by adding baking soda to hot melted sugar, and it was a common snack seen in alleys until the 1980s.
This new product preserves the original sweet and slightly bitter flavor of dalgona and adds the fun of chewing by including star-shaped sugar candies. The package design also applies a Newtro (new + retro) concept to evoke the taste of nostalgia.
