Gyeongbuk Office of Education, Fundraising for 'Overcoming COVID-19 Together' Until the End of This Month
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 9th that it has donated 15.87 million won in special funds for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education has been conducting a fundraising campaign called "Let's Overcome COVID-19 Together" from the 2nd to the end of March. The donated funds were collected over the past week by about 400 education office employees and are intended to be given first to students in urgent need of support.
The funds will be used to help students in Gyeongbuk who are struggling due to COVID-19 purchase masks and daily necessities.
