Gwangju Dong-gu, Public Utility Fee Reductions for Startup Support Center Tenants
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 6th that it will reduce management fees, facility usage fees, and public utility charges for 21 companies within the Dong-gu Startup Support Center, which are experiencing difficulties in management due to the spread of COVID-19.
The support details include a full waiver of management fees and facility usage fees for three months starting this month, a full waiver of public utility charges up to 50,000 KRW, a 50,000 KRW reduction by the district for charges exceeding 50,000 KRW but less than 100,000 KRW with the excess amount borne by the company, and a 50% reduction of the total payment amount for charges exceeding 100,000 KRW.
In addition, the Dong-gu Startup Support Center operates a comprehensive consultation office for small business support, providing economic damage reception and consultation due to COVID-19, along with comprehensive guidance on support contents from various institutions for affected small business owners.
