Daegu 60s COVID-19 Confirmed Patient Dies... 40 Domestic Deaths
[Daegu·Gyeongbuk=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] One more confirmed COVID-19 patient in Daegu has died.
According to Daegu City on the 5th, a 67-year-old male, Mr. A, passed away at 1:24 PM while receiving treatment at Kyungpook National University Hospital.
He visited the hospital on the 11th of last month due to difficulty breathing and was diagnosed with pneumonia.
As his symptoms did not improve, he returned to Kyungpook National University Hospital and tested negative for COVID-19 on the 20th of last month.
However, on the 27th of the same month, he developed a fever and was tested again for COVID-19, receiving a positive diagnosis.
It was found that Mr. A had underlying conditions including diabetes, hepatocellular carcinoma, chronic kidney disease, arrhythmia, and myocardial infarction.
