US Facebook Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19... Seattle Office 'Closed'
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] An employee at Facebook's Seattle office in Washington state, USA, the world's largest social media company, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The office has been temporarily closed.
According to Bloomberg on the 4th (local time), Facebook announced, "An employee working in the Seattle Stadium East Building has tested positive for COVID-19." The employee is known to have worked in the office until the 21st of last month.
Facebook has instructed its Seattle-area employees to work from home.
Earlier, e-commerce company Amazon also had an employee working in Seattle test positive for COVID-19 and self-quarantine.
