Gyeonggi Economic Science Institute Supports Online Overseas Marketing... 100 Companies
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is launching an online overseas marketing support project.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency announced on the 4th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Online Overseas Marketing Support Project,' which targets export beginner companies and includes global SNS marketing and e-commerce utilization such as WeChat, through the EGBiz website (www.egbiz.or.kr) until the 17th.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency will carry out a global SNS marketing support project through Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Weibo, Baidu, Zalo, and others. Selected companies will conduct SNS marketing using influencers. The agency will provide support up to 3 million KRW.
However, the support scope is limited to SNS marketing targeting overseas markets. Marketing aimed at domestic consumers is excluded from support.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency also offers support projects such as establishing and operating official WeChat business accounts, opening and operating joint online stores for participating companies, and entering offline distribution channels.
Additionally, the agency supports O2O (Online to Offline) marketing where local influencers called 'Wanghong' induce online sales through live broadcasts at experience sales venues.
Eligibility for application requires having a business site or factory located in the province and being a small or medium-sized enterprise with export amounts of 20 million USD or less in 2019.
