Emart24 exports its private brand 'I'm I' to Australia and Hong Kong
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart24 announced on the 4th that it will export 15 products of its private brand 'I'm e' to Australia and Hong Kong.
The products exported to Australia include 14 types and about 20,000 items, consisting of 13 types of snacks and 1 type of Minsaeng tissue. These products are sold at more than 110 stores, including Sydney Korean community supermarkets and Asian supermarkets such as Chinese and Vietnamese.
In Hong Kong, 7,200 Minsaeng portable tissues will be exported. These products will be stocked at the Hong Kong household goods chain store JHC. This is the first time that Korean convenience store brand's self-developed products are sold at these retail stores.
Emart24 has set an export target of 5 billion KRW this year and plans to expand sales channels to Southeast Asia and other regions.
Previously, in July 2016 (then With Me), Emart24 exported about 4,000 units of the hangover relief ice cream 'Gyeondyeoba', a self-developed product, to Vladivostok, Russia.
