First COVID-19 Case in New Delhi... Total 5 Cases in India
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The Indian capital New Delhi has reported its first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 2nd (local time), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India announced in a press release that "one confirmed case each of COVID-19 has been reported in New Delhi and Telangana."
The person confirmed in New Delhi recently traveled to Italy, where COVID-19 is rapidly spreading. The confirmed case in Telangana had traveled to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated, "The condition of the two newly confirmed patients is stable, and authorities are closely monitoring them."
