The additional confirmed patients had visited hospitals with symptoms such as headaches, fever, and phlegm since the 22nd of last month and were quarantined at home before being diagnosed positive on the 29th of last month.
As of this day, the total number of confirmed cases in the Chungnam area is counted at 63. By region, there are 55 in Cheonan, 7 in Asan, and 1 in Gyeryong, with age distribution of 33 in their 40s, 13 in their 30s, 5 each in their teens and 50s, and 4 in their 60s.
The number of confirmed cases by date showed an increasing trend: 1 case on the 21st of last month, followed by 3 on the 25th, 5 on the 26th, 10 on the 27th, 27 on the 29th, and 17 on the 29th.
