On the 28th at around 3 a.m., public official A from the Dalseong-gun Public Health Center in Daegu transported a woman in her 20s, B, who had tested positive for COVID-19, to Daegu Medical Center. During this process, B spat on A's face.
At the time, A was waking B along with a nurse and helping her board the ambulance before heading to the medical center. During this, B reportedly cursed at A and the nurse, then spat on A's face, who was in the driver's seat.
Afterwards, A immediately underwent testing and entered self-quarantine. The results are expected to be available in 1 to 2 days.
