View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The IPP Project Group of Mokpo National University (President Park Min-seo) announced on the 28th that it received the Jeonnam Western Branch Director Award from the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
This award was given on the 27th in recognition of contributions to the development of competency development projects through the activation of the IPP-type work-learning dual system project.
The Mokpo National University IPP Project Group was recognized for its contribution to nurturing practical talents needed by companies and creating youth jobs by receiving the Jeonnam Western Branch Director Award.
Jung Eung-gi, Director of the Jeonnam Western Branch of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, expressed gratitude for "the enthusiasm of Mokpo National University's IPP Project Group and Talent Development Institute for youth employment and entrepreneurship amid the challenging regional conditions of Jeonnam," and emphasized, "Let us continue to work together for talent development and regional advancement."
During the first phase of the 5-year project, the Mokpo National University IPP Project Group involved 688 students and received the Best Institution Award for Work-Learning Dual System from the Human Resources Development Service of Korea in 2017, and the Good Job Award (Excellence Award for Work-Learning Dual System) in 2018.

Kang Seong-guk, head of the Mokpo National University IPP Project Group, said, "This award is even more meaningful as it was received at the conclusion of the first phase (5th year) of the project. We are grateful to the Jeonnam Western Branch of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea for their generous encouragement of the work-learning dual system project," and added, "The second phase of the project will also be operated as a project that benefits both Mokpo National University students and the local community."
