[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Opinet, operated by the Korea National Oil Corporation, which informs about cheap gas stations, was expanded and revamped on the 27th.
First, the quick menu configuration, such as 'Find Cheap Gas Stations,' was reorganized. The search function for 'Lowest Priced Gas Stations by Province' was enhanced to allow intuitive comparison of prices by province against the national average.
Additionally, 'Opinet Startup' was added to promote startup services utilizing oil price information.
The Opinet mobile app service will also be improved in the future.
Opinet is an internet web and mobile app service that has been providing real-time nationwide gas station price information since 2008. It is estimated to have about 120 million annual users and 339,000 daily users on average.
