Gwangyang City Temporarily Allows Single-Use Items in Food Service Businesses Due to 'COVID-19'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gwangyang City, Jeonnam announced on the 26th that it will temporarily suspend guidance and crackdown on the use of disposable products only in food service establishments until the COVID-19 crisis alert level 'Severe' is lifted.
This measure follows the Ministry of Environment's allowance for all food service establishments, including coffee shops, to use disposable products after the COVID-19 crisis alert was raised to the 'Severe' level.
Food service establishments may provide disposable plastic cups, spoons, forks, plates, etc., if thorough disinfection and cleaning of containers is difficult or if customers specifically request them.
