Yang Kyung-won "Grateful to Son Ye-jin... Considering Writing a Letter" (Interview)
Actor Yang Kyung-won expressed his gratitude toward Son Ye-jin.
Yang Kyung-won said in a recent interview held at the Seoul Jung-gu office building for the tvN weekend drama Crash Landing on You (director Lee Jung-hyo, writer Park Ji-eun), "Son Ye-jin did so well that we were able to create excellent chemistry."
He continued, "Yoon Se-ri is a perfectly prepared character, so I was able to see Son Ye-jin as 'Se-ri' herself," adding, "Son Ye-jin also saw me not as Yang Kyung-won but as the character Pyo Chi-soo, which allowed us to use rough expressions like 'aemina-i' (a harsh term) naturally."
He then said, "It's fine when acting, but Son Ye-jin is the 'classic' Son Ye-jin. How could I dare to point my finger at her?" Regarding 'classic,' he expressed affection, saying, "What can I say? I will watch it again."
Yang Kyung-won shared his feelings, saying, "'I regret not being able to properly thank Son Ye-jin. I am truly grateful. If I ever get the chance, I want to convey this gratitude.' He added, "Dear Son Ye-jin. Haha. Without comrade Son Ye-jin, there would be no Pyo Chi-soo. It is an honor."
Yang Kyung-won appeared as Pyo Chi-soo, a member of the 5th Company of the North Korean Military Security Command, in the recently concluded tvN drama Crash Landing on You. From his bickering chemistry with Son Ye-jin to playing the role of the scene-stealing supporting character, he made a strong impression as a scene-stealer.
