Min Hyung-bae Preliminary Candidate "Will Establish Practical Youth Policies"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Min Hyung-bae, a preliminary candidate of the Democratic Party for the National Assembly election in Gwangsan-gu (Eul), Gwangju Metropolitan City, promised to establish realistic youth policies.
On the 25th, Candidate Min released a press statement saying, "I will establish youth policies through various frameworks such as direct support, indirect support, and management support."
He added, "While policies where the public sector provides new assistance to youth are important, policies that support common youth activities are also necessary," and said, "There are many cases where youth are exposed to inequality or vulnerability simply because they are young."
He emphasized, "It is essential to complement inequality and vulnerability through rational public intervention rather than individual improvisation."
Candidate Min stated, "I think the Youth Dream Jobs and Youth Dream Allowance programs promoted by Gwangju Metropolitan City are good policies," and argued, "Currently, the focus is on university graduates, but it is necessary to expand and rationalize these programs to include graduates of specialized high schools."
